Once you are awarded an ARCP outcome 6, to acquire your CCT from the GMC and enter the UK Specialist Register, you need to apply for your CCT with us. The process is not automatic.
Please fill in the CCT form on your ePortfolio. You will find this when you click on the ‘create new event’ (green) button.
Ensure your CV is updated as required for the process. You will find a template for this on the CCT form or on our webpage for CV Guidance If you do not include the required information in your CV it can delay the process.
The RCPCH will then submit a recommendation to the GMC and the GMC will then contact you directly.
Please make sure these steps are completed within 12 months of your CCT date. After this time the College is unable to make a recommendation to the GMC on your behalf.
