To be eligible for all three Theory Exams, you need to provide proof of your Primary Medical Qualification. You can do this when you register for exams. The theory exams can be taken in any order.
At the RCPCH, we offer two main exam pathways. These are:
- MRCPCH (membership of RCPCH) - This comprises three theory exams (Foundation of Practice, Theory and Science, Applied Knowledge in Practice) and MRCPCH Clinical. All theory exams to be completed a minimum of 7 years before MRCPCH Clinical
- Diploma of Child Health - This comprises one theory exam (Foundation of Practice) and DCH Clinical. These two exams can be taken in either order within seven years.
