Data protection and confidentiality
Our data protection and confidentiality policy establishes the College’s commitment to adhering to UK Data Protection legislation, which is the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in conjunction with the UK Data Protection Act 2018 as of 25 May 2018.
The College therefore follows procedures that aim to ensure that all employees, workplace volunteers, elected members or Officers, contractors, agents, consultants, partners or other servants of the College who have access to any personal data held by or on behalf of the College, are fully aware of and abide by their duties and responsibilities under the Regulation.

Privacy notices
We want to be completely open about how we use and protect your data. All privacy notices for College activities and for associated organisations are hosted on the 'Privacy hub' on our website.
Data protection complaints
Anyone can make a data protection complaint about the College, whether it's on behalf of yourself or someone else. If you have a complaint, please contact us first so that we can try to resolve the issue.

Security breaches
If you wish to report a security breach relating to RCPCH information, systems or communications, please email information.governance@rcpch.ac.uk.
Rights request
If you have a rights request - we explain this in our Understanding GDPR and your data rights page on the main website - please submit a request or email information.governance@rcpch.ac.uk.
