Candidates must raise their concerns on the day of the exam with the senior examiner or senior staff member during the Candidate Debriefing and then submit a complaint form to clinicalexams@rcpch.ac.uk within 7 days of the exam.
Submitting an official complaint means that your complaint will be reviewed by a panel or Senior DCH Examiners, alongside your marksheets, exam reports from the day, and you will then receive a letter to inform you of the outcome of this process. The outcome of which will be communicated to you within 10 working days after the scheduled meeting.
See the Complaints and Appeals Policy, (Candidate complaint process is in section 4) to ensure your request is within policy.
If you do not wish to formally complain, your feedback will be taken on board and investigated internally, but you will not receive an outcome letter as you would with a formal complaint.
